Friday 13th - The Chattanooga Choo-Choo

The Chattanooga Choo-Choo
No longer in service or we would have been on it !! The station area is now a historic site and  a hotel,  the old railway carriages are now hotel rooms.
We had very heavy rain overnight and it's cloudy this morning but still in the high 80's/90's
Downtown Chattanooga Tennessee is about 10 miles from our campsite which is actually in Georgia
Sadly they have removed the train "whistle" !!!
Mooring and visitor centre for The Southern Belle, we may take an evening dinner/cruise later in the week
This is a really fantastic sculpture in The Sculpture Garden along the Tennessee River.  The incredible part is the whole weight is hanging by just one foot somehow attached to the bank !
The Old Bakery opposite the Sculpture Garden
My favourite is the one in red !!!!!
After all of this walking about we return to the Choo-Choo Station for the largest ever ice cream........
Back at camp himself decides to take our new BBQ out of the box......ho hum it is in many many parts but they say just half an hour assembly.....so an hour and 10 mins later we have a working BBQ and very nice chicken it was too.....
